MATTHEWS LEADS MOORE TRIBUTES

Singer DAVE MATTHEWS has paid tribute to LeROI MOORE, a founding member of the DAVE MATTHEWS BAND, who died on Tuesday (19Aug08).
Moore passed away at the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center following complications from injuries he suffered in a car accident in June (08).
Matthews and the rest of the band performed in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, just hours after Moore's death.
And they paid an emotional tribute to the star following their first song, reports People.com.
Matthews told the crowd, "We all had some bad news today. Our good friend LeRoi Moore passed on and gave his ghost up today and we will miss him forever."
Fans shouted Moore's name in tribute as the band resumed playing. Two songs later, Matthews once again made reference to Moore, saying: "It's easier to leave than be left."
