MASTODON GUITARIST HOSPITALISED IN LONDON

MASTODON rocker BILL KELLIHER has quit the band's European tour and checked into a London hospital suffering from a mystery illness.
The heavy rock group has been forced to continue its European Unholy Alliance Chapter III Tour as a three-piece while doctors carry out tests on the guitarist, who was admitted on 3 November (08).
A spokesperson for the band tells Spin.com, "At this point all we know is that Bill was not feeling well upon arrival to the UK and went to the hospital where doctors are running tests now.
"Doctors and Bill are hopeful that he will rejoin his bandmates in time for their headlining tour of Europe, which begins Nov. 30 in Utrecht, Holland."
Mastodon are touring with fellow rock groups Slayer, Trivium, and Amon Amarth.
