MARTIN'S TREAT FOR INJURED FAN

COLDPLAY rocker CHRIS MARTIN made a young fan's day, when he plucked him from the crowd during a concert to join him onstage.
The singer was rehearsing ahead of a live performance on U.S. breakfast programme The Today Show in New York on Friday (27Jun08), when he noticed Lucas Bell in the front row with his arm in a cast.
Martin stopped singing, reached down and grabbed Bell - the son of Today show executive producer Jim Bell - lifting him up onto the stage, before grilling him about how he broke his arm.
The band performed a string of hits for thousands of fans who gathered outside the show's Rockefeller Center studio - to promote their new album Viva La Vida.
