MARTIN TAKES PUBLIC TRANSPORT FOR FANS

COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN travels by bus to his concerts so he can be on the same level as his audience. The millionaire singer likes to use public transport so he knows how Coldplay fans feel. He then uses the irritation caused by the experience to put on a better show. Martin explains, "I try getting to shows at the same time as everyone else. I've been stuck in traffic, I've been on an over-crowded train and I've lined up to buy an overpriced hotdog. "Quite often this will put me in a bad mood. So I know just what it's like for everyone else who is paying. "It makes me more determined to get onstage and really deliver a show that makes it all worthwhile for everyone."
