MARTIN CONFUSED OVER PALIN CRUSH

Democrat-supporting rocker CHRIS MARTIN was confused through this year's (08) U.S. presidential elections - because he harboured a secret crush on failed Republican vice-president SARAH PALIN.
Republican presidential candidate John MCCain picked the Alaskan Governor to be his running mate in a bid to get voters on his side in time for the elections earlier this month (Nov08).
The pair failed to win their campaign for the White House, after Democrat leader Barack Obama was voted in as America's president-elect.
And despite Martin's left-wing political stance - he couldn't help but fancy spectacle-sporting Palin.
He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "The Palin situation did my head in. It is a moral dilemma when you fancy someone but you don't agree with anything they say.
"Do I want to kiss you or run away? I haven't had that feeling since school."
