MARTIN: 'COLDPLAY WONT DO A RADIOHEAD'

COLDPLAY star CHRIS MARTIN has vowed to remain loyal to beleagured record label EMI, despite an exodus of major names from the British music giant.
Sir Paul MCCartney, The Rolling Stones and Radiohead have all left EMI since it was bought out by capital group Terra Firma in 2007.
But Coldplay frontman Martin insists his band are staying put.
Martin says, "Being on a major label at the moment is like living in your grandparents' house. Everyone knows they need to move out, and they will eventually, but we kind of like our grandmother.
"We have absolute respect for Radiohead and people who can do what they like. We're in contract though, so we're just going to make the most of it and enjoy the people we get to work with."
Coldplay are due to release their new album Viva La Vida or Death and all his Friends later this year (08).
