MARTIN 'BANNED FROM COLDPLAY STUDIO'

COLDPLAY frontman Chris Martin has revealed that he has been banned from the studio while his band work on their fifth album.

The hugely successful outfit are currently working on the follow up to last years' VIVA LA VIDA with producer Brian Eno, who claimed the forthcoming record could be better if Chris gave the band some room in the early sessions.

"He said that it would be better without me for the first two weeks - 'you can do better without the singer,' said Martin during an interview with Absolute Radio.

"It has turned out to be a good idea though because the band's been free to try out loads of weird things without me getting in the way."

He added that he has been working on collaborations with various other people while he has been away from the studio.

Martin recently claimed that he would like to see a stage invasion after one of their performances.
