MARSDEN'S FURY OVER ROAD RAGE SILENCE

Actor JAMES MARSDEN was left fuming after a recent road rage incident - because he couldn't think of a witty reply to offend a confrontational driver.
The X-Men hunk was with his wife, actress Lisa Linde, in Los Angeles when he accidentally cut up a fellow motorist, sparking the angry driver to pursue the actor with horns blaring.
And the driver's aggression was further fuelled by the actions of Marsden's irritated wife - after she gave the man a rude hand gesture.
He tells Britain's Arena magazine, "The other day I accidentally pulled out in front of someone and he was ticked off. He hit the horn and rode the bumper and everything, so my wife shot him the finger.
"Then he pulled his car in front of me and stopped his car on an angle, got out of his car, called her a b**ch and me an a**hole. And he was much bigger than me. It was terrifying, man."
But the verbal attack stayed with Marsden for hours after the run-in - because he was left pondering how he should have replied to the driver's expletive-filled rant.
He explains, "The most difficult thing is when you drive away and for the next few hours you think about what you should have said."
