MARS FEARED LEE AND SIXX WOULDN'T SURVIVE

Rocker MICK MARS is shocked his MOTLEY CRUE bandmates TOMMY LEE and NIKKI SIXX survived their years of hard partying.
The notorious hellraisers' wild ways ended in tragedy when frontman Vince Neil crashed a car, killing Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas Dingley in 1984.
Mars decided to quit drugs and alcohol when he started to put on too much weight - and he is stunned his pals survived their rock and roll lifestyle.
He says, "I'm definitely surprised (my bandmates) made it. I was very afraid for both Tommy and Nikki. I knew Vince would be okay. He knew when to level off. My other two boys didn't quite know when to do that.
"For me, I looked at myself in the mirror one day. I was a little fatter than I wanted to be and I just went, 'I'm done with drinking'. I wasn't much of a drug person in those days - except cocaine, of course. That was kind of the drug of choice then, alongside drinking excessively."
