MARGERA SUED OVER CAR SPLATTERING STUNT

JACKASS star BAM MARGERA has been sued by a British law firm after throwing white paint over a racing opponent's sports car. The Viva La Bam host has been accused of criminal damage after splashing the blue Peugeot 306 GTI with paint on a London street. The attack - which took place in April (07) - was filmed for Margera's reality show, and will now be used as evidence in court. The car's owner Nick Taft was set to compete against Margera in Europe's Gumball 3000 car rally at the time of the incident. Taft's lawyer, James Barrington, tells New York gossip column PageSix.com that Margera was intent on revenge, believing Taft had already stripped the gearbox on his Lamborghini Gallardo. The 2007 Gumball rally - an annual 3,000-mile (5,000-km) international race which takes place on public roads - was subsequently cancelled after a car participating in the rally was involved in an accident that killed two bystanders.
