MARCUS IMMUNE FROM NOMINATIONS?

Marcus may have been chosen by Siavash to be immune from nomination in this weeks 'Big Brother' eviction vote.

Marcus may be immune from eviction from 'Big Brother' this week.

The hairy housemate thanked Siavash - acting as King Henry VIII - at last night's (23.06.09) banquet for "letting him stay another week" after he completed his own role in the task of Village Idiot.

During the Tudor period re-enactment shopping task, Marcus, 35, was forced to be locked in the stocks and pelted with fruit and fish guts soaked sponges every time Siavash got a question about the monarch he was portraying wrong - which he frequently did.

Earlier in the 16th century task Siavash had been given the opportunity to choose one housemate who will not nominate for Friday's (26.06.09) eviction in tonight's live show. He picked Charlie, who was ecstatic at being exempt from voting.

Meanwhile, Channel 4 has confirmed tonight's nominations will take place live. After the usual summary show at 10.00pm, host Davina McCall will present a special show which will see each of the 12 housemates - apart for Charlie - called to the Diary Room and given a short amount of time to nominate and give their reasons why.

Executives for the channel warned, however, any housemate failing to give adequate reason or running over time will not have their votes counted.
