MARADONA LEAVES HOSPITAL
LATEST: Argentine soccer legend DIEGO MARADONA was released from hospital early this morning (11APR07) after a 13-day stay for alcohol treatment.
The retired sports ace, 46, was forcibly admitted to a Buenos Aires clinic after contracting hepatitis caused by alcohol abuse.
But he was released following a meeting between his family and medical staff yesterday (10APR07).
The soccer great has fought cocaine addiction, alcohol abuse and obesity since retiring from the sport 10 years ago.
