MANIC STREET PREACHERS were left bemused after Cuban leader FIDEL CASTRO called the music "louder than war". The Welsh trio were granted a meeting with Castro during a visit to the Communist country in 2001. Bassist Nicky Wire say, "Fidel Castro once told us that our music was louder than war."
