MALKOVICH HELMS SPANISH PLAY

Actor/director JOHN MALKOVICH is to direct a theatre production of THE GOOD CANARY in Spanish - even though he's not fluent in the language.
The star will transform Zach Helm's play - about a frustrated writer struggling with his wife's addiction to amphetamines - into a Spanish version, with Mexican actor Diego Luna in the lead role.
Malkovich has previously put on a French version of the play in Paris.
The show will run for 10 weeks at Teatro Insurgentes in Mexico City from 26 November (08).
