MADONNA WORKED THROUGH DIVORCE HEARTACHE

MADONNA threw herself into work after her split from GUY RITCHIE - because she feared the divorce would drive her to suicide.
The Material Girl and her film director ex announced their break-up last October (08) and their marriage was formally dissolved in a London court in January (09).
And the singer admits the fallout from the split was so heartbreaking she concentrated on taking her Sticky & Sweet world tour back on the road to keep her mind off her shattered love life.
She tells Rolling Stone, "It was a challenging year. I may have thrown myself off a building. I think work saved me, and I'm very grateful (for that)."
