MADONNA SETS TOUR RECORD
MADONNA's current world tour is set to rake in $282 million (GBP185.7 million) - making it the biggest-selling solo jaunt ever.
The Holiday hitmaker's Sticky + Sweet tour kicked off in Cardiff, Wales in August (08) and the run is due to end in Sao Paulo, Brazil later this month (Dec08).
Concert producer Live Nation said the star's 28-date U.S. leg sold 550,000 tickets and grossed $91.5 million (GBP60.2 million).
Madonna held the previous record, having taken $193.7 million (GBP127.5 million) with her Confessions tour in 2006.
