MADONNA: 'PAPARAZZI TREAT STARS WORSE IN THE UK'

MADONNA believes celebrities living in Britain are treated far worse by the paparazzi than their American counterparts because of the comparatively small size of the UK. The MATERIAL GIRL, who is based in London with her children and husband GUY RITCHIE, feels sorry for PRINCE WILLIAM's girlfriend KATE MIDDLETON, who is pursued by photographers wherever she goes. And Madonna told US TV network NBC she can relate to Middleton's predicament. She said, "There is a big concentration of celebrities living there so there is a handful of people that get a lot of harassment and are focused on, where in America it is much more spread out. "The press will probably leave her alone for about 10 minutes."
