MADONNA DOESN'T READ TABLOIDS

MADONNA isn't bothered by the intense speculation surrounding her reported rocky romance with husband GUY RITCHIE - because she refuses to read tabloid magazines.
Speculation surrounding the pop star's nearly eight-year-long marriage reached a high last month (Jul08) when gossips were sent into a spin over reports she was having an affair with American baseball star Alex Rodriguez.
The Hung Up hitmaker has since denied the allegations, insisting she and Ritchie remain happily married.
And according to U.S. magazine People, the singer isn't affected by the swirling speculation - since she never bothers to read about herself in the news.
Ritchie's pal, actor Vinnie Jones, tells the magazine: "I know for a fact (that) they don't read anything. No one's getting at them. It seems nowadays people can write about what they want and get away with it."
He adds that the family "seem very close".
The couple share three children - Madonna's daughter Lourdes, 11, from a previous relationship; Rocco, seven, and adopted son David, two.
