MADONNA DELAYED GIG OVER AIR-CONDITIONING

MADONNA left fans at London's O2 Arena waiting for more than half an hour - because she demanded the venue's air conditioning be stepped up.
The pop superstar took to the stage on Saturday night (04Jul09) to restart her Sticky & Sweet world tour in the British capital.
But the singer angered fans by leaving them waiting, with the crowd's cheers turning to boos and jeers as time ticked on.
The delayed start meant many concert-goers were left stranded as London's public transport systems shut for the night.
A spokeswoman for the O2 Arena has apologised to fans who were stuck after the gig and explained the reason behind the delay.
She says, "Madonna unfortunately came on stage much later than we expected. Madonna requested the arena be a certain temperature - the air conditioning was turned on an hour before Madonna came on stage."
