MADDEN WRITING AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Rocker JOEL MADDEN is adding author to his resume - he has started work on his autobiography.
The Good Charlotte star, 30, has put pen to paper to share his experiences about life as a successful musician and family man living under the pressures of Hollywood.
But Madden, who is preparing to welcome his second child with girlfriend Nicole Richie, has yet to set a release date for the memoir because he wants his work to be word-perfect before anyone gets to read it.
He tells People.com, "I'm lightly working on one but I don't want to put a book out there if it's not actually meaningful. I'm not going to go there unless I can deliver."
And Madden insists the tome won't be a throwaway celebrity read: "It would be about my life. It would be about, mostly, the big changes in my life: Kids, relationships, moving to L.A…the big life changes that I've gone through.
"If I put a book out, I want it to be something that matters to me. It has to be real, you can't just put a book out, to put a book out. I want every page to mean something."
