MADDEN DISMISSES MARRIAGE REPORTS

GOOD CHARLOTTE rocker JOEL MADDEN has dismissed rumours he wed longtime partner NICOLE RICHIE in a secret ceremony earlier this month (Oct09).
Tabloid reports suggested the couple married in an intimate ceremony at their Hollywood home on 14 October (09) - five weeks after Richie gave birth to their first son, Sparrow.
However, Madden insists they have yet to exchange vows and make their three-year relationship official.
In a message posted on his official blog, he writes, "I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. No we didn't get married."
Richie, who also shares a 22-month-old daughter, Harlow, with Madden, admits she would hurry down the aisle if it became important to her children.
She tells People magazine, "One day I would love to get married. It's not something we're talking about right now. If my kids ask me to get married, I'd get married."
