MACDONALD TO TACKLE ROMAN EPIC

THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND director KEVIN MACDONALD is heading back to Roman times to tackle an adaptation of Rosemary Sutcliff's beloved 1954 teen novel Eagle of the Ninth. The story centres around a wounded Roman soldier who turns detective in an effort to find out what happened to a legion of soldiers - led by his father - which disappeared in Scotland.
