MACDONALD DELIGHTED AT BEING A 'LATE STARTER'

Scottish actress KELLY MACDONALD is delighted she wasn't a child star - because she would have been overwhelmed by the pressures of fame. The No Country For Old Men star, who found fame aged 20 in Danny Boyles' Trainspotting, insists she's relieved she didn't hit the big time in her teens. She says, "I started when I was young. But I look at people like Keira Knightley (who made her first TV appearance at eight) who had success even younger and have just gone stratospheric and I feel very lucky that that didn't happen to me. "I don't think I would have coped very well with it."
