LYDON THANKS BUTTER ADS FOR PIL TOUR
SEX PISTOLS star JOHN LYDON has credited his quirky Country Life butter commercials for helping him to fund his upcoming PUBLIC IMAGE LTD. reunion tour.
The former Johnny Rotten admits the cash he made from the British TV ads helped him raise money to stage seven shows in Britain in December (09).
He says, "The money I got from that advert is the advance on this."
