LITTLE BRITAIN funnyman MATT LUCAS was left fearing for his life when doctors warned him his excessive weight could kill him.
The comedian has piled on the pounds in recent years and was devastated to learn his health was in danger as a result.
The 35-year-old ditched fatty snacks and started exercising as part of a new clean living regime - and has shed a massive 28 pounds (12.7 kilograms) in just two months.
Lucas tells Britain's Heat magazine, "My doctor said my health was at risk. I didn't want my health to be in danger. My dad died at 52 and his dad died at 56. So I thought I needed to sort it out and take responsibility."
