LUCAS: 'SHIA'S HAND IS HEALING'

LATEST: TRANSFORMERS star SHIA LaBEOUF's hand is recovering well after being crushed in a car accident last month (Jul08), according to co-star ISABEL LUCAS, who was also in the collision.
The actor is currently nursing a heavily bandaged hand after flipping his truck twice in a collision with another vehicle in Hollywood on 27 July. He underwent "extensive surgery" and spent several days in hospital.
But Lucas insists that LaBeouf will recover from his injury.
She tells Access Hollywood, "We're both fine, and Shia's fine as well. His hand is healing well."
