LOVITZ COMMITS TO LIFELONG GIG

Comedian JON LOVITZ has committed to appear at a Los Angeles comedy club - for the rest of his life. The funnyman will perform at the Laugh Factory every Wednesday until his death. He says, "Who knows? I could become the Don Ho of Los Angeles. God knows I've got enough Hawaiian shirts." Jamie Masada, the club's owner, explains, "If he's in New York to do a movie or something, he can appear at the Laugh Factory there. But he's committed to every Wednesday night. His contract is very lucrative. "If he lives to be 100 years old, I'll owe him part of the club." Lovitz will also pen a blog endorsed by the club, giving advice to wannabe comedians.
