LOVEJOY QUITS SOCCER AM
Tim Lovejoy has quit the hit Sky Sports show Soccer AM after ten years with the football programme.
The morning show has become a huge hit with football fans and celebrities alike, with Lovejoy co-hosting the programme with Helen Chamberlain.
A new host is expected to join her when Soccer AM begins its new series in August ahead of the football season.
A spokesman for Sky Sports said: "Tim notified us that he'd like a change of direction in his career and it is a decision that we understand.
"He leaves with our very best wishes for the future and we would like to thank him."
Lovejoy is rumoured to be working on a new entertainment show for Simon Fuller's company 19 TV.
The humorous presenter is also a producer on Soccer AM and has masterminded the show's blend of comedy and football banter.
Celebrities like Noel Gallagher and a host of football legends have appeared on the show, which also has a group of football fans in the studio from a different club every week.
