LOVE: 'LILY ALLEN IS LIKE BARRYMORE'

COURTNEY LOVE has hailed British pop star LILY ALLEN the new DREW BARRYMORE, after meeting the singer as a child. Ex-HOLE rocker Love met Allen at a London celebrity hangout in 1996, and found herself charmed by the then 11-year-old, comparing her maturity to former child star Barrymore's. She says, "(Lily) was hanging out at the Groucho Club with her mum. She wasn't bratty at all, she was like a really nice kid. "I remember like I remember Drew before I was friends with her - it's not like she had big boobs or anything early, but she was sort of like 40 when she was 11, and a really sweet little girl."
