LOST STAR FOX TAKES OFF AS A PILOT

LOST star MATTHEW FOX is studying to get his powered pilot's license - even though he was part of one of the most famous plane crashes in TV history.
Fox's character in the complex desert island drama is one of the surviving passengers of a harrowing mid-air disaster - but that hasn't put the actor off flying.
A glider pilot for many years, Fox is close to becoming one of a number of celebrities who can fly their own planes.
He says, "I'm actually scheduled to take essentially the driving portion of the test on the 25th of this month, so I'm really close and I'm ready."
