'LOST' HENDRIX ALBUM TO BE RELEASED
An album JIMI HENDRIX recorded with Stephen Stills, which has been lost for over 30 years, is to be released.
The album was recently discovered by Stills among material he recorded in the 1970s and is being prepared for release by his Crosby, Stills and Nash bandmate Graham Nash.
Nash told the Las Vegas sun that Stills has an "enormous history of recording".
"In the '70s, he was a recording fool. He just found a bloody album he made with Hendrix. 'Oh yeah, I forgot that.' We've got to listen to that... I want to listen to every track he ever recorded in case he recorded with Al Jolson," he said.
Nash is currently pursuing several projects for possible release, including an acoustic performance with David Crosby in 1993, his own solo work and Crosby, Stills and Nash demo material.
A 1965 Fender Stratocaster that Hendrix set fire to onstage is set to be auctioned this summer.
