LOST COHEN TRACKS UNEARTHED FOR RE-RELEASES

Lost recordings from Canadian folk icon LEONARD COHEN's early career are set to resurface on reissues of his first three albums. The previously unreleased tracks will appear on SONGS OF LEONARD COHEN, SONGS FROM A ROOM and SONGS OF LOVE + HATE when the remastered albums are released in April (07). According to Billboard.com, the tracks include incomplete songs the revered poet/singer recorded with JOHN HAMMOND in the summer of 1967, an early version of Cohen classic BIRD ON A WIRE called LIKE A BIRD, and an early version of the song YOU KNOW WHO I AM, which features a harmony with DAVID CROSBY.
