LOREN JOINS MAIDEN VOYAGE OF DOVER CRUISE SHIP

Italian actress SOPHIA LOREN has helped to launch a new luxury cruise ship in Dover, England.
The Academy Award winner joined a host of VIPs, including fellow countryman Andrea Bocelli and British royals Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, onboard the MSC Poesia on 5 April (08), for its maiden voyage from Dover to Venice, Italy.
Speaking on the night, Loren - who was named the godmother of the ship - revealed how she had fulfilled a lifelong dream by visiting Dover.
She said: "I remember a film - The White Cliffs of Dover - and I will never forget it.
"It was a beautiful film, and I've always wanted to come here."
The event marked the first ever launch of an MSC Cruises ship outside of Italy.
