LOPEZ HITS BROADWAY
DANCING WITH THE STARS star MARIO LOPEZ will tread the boards for the first time on Broadway - joining the cast of A CHORUS LINE next month (Apr08). Lopez will play Zach, the show's demanding director, in the revival of one of the longest-running Broadway musicals of all time. And producer John Breglio has high hopes for the 34-year-old, saying, "(His) talents and charm will transfer beautifully to the Broadway stage." Lopez, who will join the cast at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, New York is delighted with his new role. He says, "Every actor dreams about appearing on a Broadway stage. I have as well and have been searching for the right time and opportunity."
