LOHAN'S MUM BLASTS DAD OVER PUBLIC RANT

LINDSAY LOHAN's mum DINA has blasted the actress' father MICHAEL - accusing him of using public appearances to make up for his lack of parenting as the star grew up.
Michael Lohan alleged last week (begs12Oct09) that his daughter buys strong medication from one of Hollywood's biggest drug dealers.
The actress has rejected her father's claims, telling Usmagazine.com, "Everything is good. I am in a really good place. I've been working a lot. I wish he would just shut up."
But Michael Lohan continued his public pleas on Friday (16Oct09) when he broke down in tears on U.S. TV as he pleaded with the actress to beat her alleged addiction to prescription drugs.
While appearing on the Maury Povich show he turned to the camera to address the Mean Girls star, and wept as he told her, "Lindsay, I love you with all my heart and... I am not going to bury you. You're going to bury me before this is over. I will do anything and everything I have to to save your life. Whether mum likes it, or the public likes it or anyone, I am going to take all the steps I can to help you because I want you to have your life back."
Now the actress' mother has slammed Michael for his continued outbursts - berating him for speaking about his children in the media and accusing him of failing to keep up his child support payments.
She says, "Michael Lohan needs to focus on being a parent, paying child support, of which he is six months behind, and making up for all the years he was an absentee dad. And stop going on national television talking about his children publicly."
