LOHAN'S LUCKY CO-STAR LANDS KIRK ROLE
LINDSAY LOHAN's luck really has rubbed off on actor CHRIS PINE - he has landed the coveted role of the young CAPTAIN KIRK in director J.J. ABRAMS' STAR TREK sequel. Pine, who played opposite Lohan in 2006 fortune exchange movie Just My Luck, has been added to a cast that already includes Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Eric Bana and Heroes star Zachary Quinto. Karl Urban is also a new addition - he'll play Dr. Leonard MCCoy in the new film, according to sources at distributor Paramount. Leonard Nimoy will reprise his role as an older version of Vulcan Mr. Spock. Quinto will play the younger man. The film is scheduled to begin shooting next month (Nov07).
