LOHAN 'MISLED' DURING ATTACKS ON RONSON

LINDSAY LOHAN's father MICHAEL LOHAN has changed his mind about his daughter's on/off romance with SAMANTHA RONSON - insisting he was "misled" during his harsh attacks of the DJ.
The actress' father has been extremely critical of the pair's relationship in the past - accusing Ronson of ruining his daughter's career, and using the star for her fame
Before making the turnaround, he told WENN in May (09),"I am just afraid that if Sam comes back into her life, her next movie will flop too. Sam has a habit of coming into Lindsay's life when Sam or her family need Lindsay to help boost their careers."
The Mean Girls star split from the DJ earlier this year (09), they revived their rocky romance over the summer but the relationship is still dogged by rumours of ferocious arguments.
However, Michael now insists he was misinformed about Ronson and will support the romance, despite the couple's turmoil.
He tells the New York Post, "I was misled by people who had their own agenda... I was wrong and I'm very sorry. I wish the best for them."
