Singer/actress LINDSAY LOHAN gave chef KERRY SIMON a boost as she opens a new restaurant in Los Angeles - the actress asked the cook to cater for her 20th birthday party on Sunday (02JUL06). The former Hard Rock Hotel chef opened Simon LA last week (ends30JUN06) and Lohan, it seems, is already a big fan. The actress hired Simon to cook a gala birthday dinner at her Hollywood home.
