LINDSAY LOHAN has slammed DREW PINSKY after the reality TV doctor criticised her ongoing battle with drink and drugs.
Pinsky, who helps stars manage their addictions on U.S. TV show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, took a swipe at Lohan in a recent interview, insisting the only thing that would help the Mean Girls star beat booze would be a "mortal wound".
He told America's Parade magazine, "I'm convinced that she'll get sober one day. But I'm afraid that between now and then, she may get a nearly mortal wound of some type. I'm really convinced that something horrible is going to have to happen to her before she really gets over it and embraces sobriety. She needs to give it up. I have this image that she's going to lose a limb or something before she does."
And Pinsky's comments have infuriated Lohan, who was arrested twice in 2007 on drink driving charges, and spent time in rehab.
She has taken to her Twitter.com page to blast Pinsky: "I thought REAL doctors talk to patients in offices behind closed doors. Am I wrong? Hmmmmm. I think NOT! Yay!"
