LOHAN + DUFF UNLIKELY FRIENDS AFTER ENDING FIVE-YEAR FEUD

LINDSAY LOHAN and HILARY DUFF have patched up their differences five years after they fought over for the affections of AARON CARTER. The two actress/pop stars launched a public war of words in 2002 when they simultaneously dated Carter, but time seems to have healed their rift. The former love rivals have been spotted hanging out together in Hollywood recently, and now Duff has told People magazine she's no longer warring with Lohan. She says, "We are both adults and whatever happened, happened when we were young. It's over." Lohan further proved the fight between her and Duff is over when she showed up at the release party for Duff's new album DIGNITY on Monday night (02APR07). She told reporters, "She's really fun... She's a nice girl."
