LOHAN DENIES ELM STREET RUMOURS

Lindsay Lohan will not be appearing in a remake of A Nightmare of Elm Street, her representatives have said.

Rumours suggested the Mean Girls star had signed up to appear in a remake of the iconic 1980s film involving Freddy Krueger.

"It's not true," Lohan's representatives told E!Online.

"We don't know where this all came from, but there's nothing there."

The 1984 film starred Robert Englund as the horrifying Kruger. He is not expected to reprise the role in the remake though.
