LOHAN ATTENDS LA POLICE STATION

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has attended an LA police station in connection with her arrest for drink driving in May.

Ms Lohan had her fingerprints and photo taken and was released with her court date set for August 24th.

The actress was arrested on May 26th after mounting a curb and hitting a shrub in LA while she was over the drink-driving limit, police said.

She was also arrested on suspicion of a hit-and-run offence.

Police said that Ms Lohan was driven to a hospital in another car after the accident and received treatment for minor injuries.

She was traced to the hospital by police officers. Two other people were in the car which Ms Lohan allegedly crashed and were not hurt.

The Bobby actress entered a rehabilitation facility and stayed there for six weeks before checking out last week. She also had a spell in rehab in January.

Ms Lohan has starred in a number of Hollywood hits including Freaky Friday, Herbie Fully Loaded and Mean Girls.
