LIVELY REFUTES MEESTER RIFT RUMOURS

GOSSIP GIRL star BLAKE LIVELY has hit out at reports she is in the midst of a bitter feud with co-star LEIGHTON MEESTER - branding the reports as "nonsense".
The actress, who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the hit U.S. show, had reportedly caused tension on-set after a rift with Meester reached boiling point.
But the actress refutes the reports, blaming the media for the speculative falling out - accusing the tabloid press of "pitting women against each other".
She tells E! Online, "I think it's so silly that they try to pry into our personal lives and create drama. All this me against Leighton thing is the biggest nonsense in the world."
Last month, Lively also accused the press of sparking rumours of an on-set love affair with co-star Penn Badgley after the pair were snapped enjoying a seemingly romantic break in Mexico.
