Actress LUCY LIU pities men for having to deal with modern women, because the 'girl power' trend of recent years has left them confused with how best to approach the fairer sex. The Charlie's Angels star admits it has become harder than ever for men to predict how a woman likes to be treated. She says, "I think men are in some ways a little bit confused but I don't mean that in a bad way. "There was a time when they were expected to open the door for a woman and pay for dinner and do all of those things. Now they don't really know what to do. They don't want to be chastised for not opening a door, but at the same time, some women are happy to open a door themselves. "It's not something men appreciate or expect. Are men supposed to be men and pay for dinner, or should they let the woman pay for dinner? I think it's a difficult connection for men to understand."
