LINKIN PARK ALBUM DELAY

Rockers LINKIN PARK are delaying the release of their new album, because the band can't decide which songs should appear on it. The METEORA stars hoped to have the album in shops by the end of this year (06), but now they confess that it won't be possible. Singer/rapper MIKE SHINODA says, "At this point we don't see that happening. We're doing really well, but we just need a little more time. We've narrowed it down to about 30 to 50 songs, and some of those are heavy, some are softer and some are in between. "So far it has a sound that I cannot describe. It sounds like it's older, but not vintage."
