'Mean Girls' actress Lindsay Lohan requested only female staff be allowed to work at an Italian nightclub the night she and Samantha Ronson were partying there.

Lindsay Lohan asked for men to be banned from a nightclub she was attending.

The 'Mean Girls' actress made the request while partying with her on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson at Fiat Playa in Sardinia, Italy.

A source said: "Management complied with her request and even made sure that only women were on staff."

Lindsay, Samantha and their pals spent the evening chatting animatedly, with several of the group even dancing on the tables and chairs in the club.

Meanwhile, following rumours Lindsay lost personal pictures when her Los Angeles home was broken into recently, it has been claimed she was terrified intimate photos of her and Samantha had been stolen.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Lindsay admitted there were some girly poses of her and Samantha, scantily clad. Other photos showed her in compromising poses with both girls and guys.

"She kept repeating how she'd been absolutely frantic that they'd end up splashed over the internet. She was so totally relieved thieves hadn't snagged her bag of goodies."
