LINDSAY LOHAN'S CAREER 'FINISHED'
Hollywood wildchild Lindsay Lohan's many run-ins with the law have reportedly reached the point where industry bosses are deciding whether to sever links with the actress.
A report claims that the 21-year-old actress/singer has put her career in danger of collapse after her most recent arrest saw her detained on suspected drink driving and drug possession offences.
The News of the World quotes an unnamed source from Lohan's record label Casablanca Records as saying: "Talks about cutting her off are underway. There's only so much you can put up with. It's time to say bye-bye.
"Lindsay has pushed it too far and the company are now ready to let her go."
The Mean Girls and Herbie Fully Loaded star was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in the early hours last week by police in California, who revealed that they had allegedly found her to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine.
Lohan, already facing an earlier charge of drink driving following a May car crash, was apparently pursuing a vehicle being driven by the mother of her personal assistant when she was apprehended in the latest incident, Santa Monica police said.
But in an email to the host of a US entertainment show, the actress insisted that she was innocent.
Responding to a message sent by Access Hollywood's Billy Bush, Lohan reportedly replied: "Yes. I am innocent ... [I] did not do drugs they're not mine.
"I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy," she added, according to comments posted on the show's website.
It is not clear why Lohan was involved in the alleged incident with the mother of one of her staff members, but at a press conference following the actress' arrest police revealed that her assistant had quit her job just hours before.
Meanwhile Hollywood legal experts are warning Lohan that her best bet for avoiding jail time is to go back into rehab following her second brush with the law this month.
The party-loving star handed herself in to Beverly Hills police last month to face charges of drink driving and leaving the scene of an accident in relation to a car crash on May 26th, when she allegedly lost control of her Mercedes-Benz sports car and drove into a hedge.

You're right, Nonnie. She is in such deep denial it's crazy. She deserves a
chance if she cleans herself up because it would be a double standard to not
give her another chance when so many before her (the most public being Robert
Downey Jr.) got chance after chance. She needs to be humbled by some serious
jail time, then maybe she will learn to accept responsibility for what she has
done. And I am a fan of hers. But really, she was the one behind the wheel,
not her mom, not her dad. I think her family issues are the root of her
problems but she is an adult now and needs to start acting like one. Only
someone very deluded could try to make herself the victim after a crazy stunt
like the one she pulled.
It was her lying and "goddess"--I am a celebrity attitude that is finally
finishing her career.
