Lindsay Lohan has been snubbed by Russell Brand after she reportedly tried to woo him.

The 'Mean Girls' actress - who is in an on-off relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson - has reportedly been trying to woo the British comedian but he has so far turned down her advances as he doesn't find her partying lifestyle attractive.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Lindsay is a very good-looking girl and she is used to getting what she wants. Russell has been on her radar for a while now but he doesn't want anything to do with her.

"He finds her constant craving for attention and her heavy drinking a turn-off. It's not like he is short of female attention anyway."

'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' star Russell is currently in the US trying to make it as a Hollywood star and is renowned for his womanising ways.

Meanwhile, Lindsay has spoken of her shock after she was "grabbed" by a stranger.

Speaking on her Twitter page, she said: "Some guy just grabbed my waist - two hands, both sides. I've been held down before and fought my way out. He spilt his drink on me too.

"Not being mean, I get scared of being touched by strangers-let alone GRABBED!"
