LILY ALLEN HITS OUT AT GEORGE W
LILY ALLEN seems to be taking pop music's obsession with the world of retro into politics with a dig at former US president George W Bush.
During her gig at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, the singer, who is the daughter of actor KEITH ALLEN, took a dig at the man who left office on January 20th 2009, reports the NME,
Introducing her song F*** You, she expressed a distinct dislike for the former most powerful man on Earth.
"This song is about George W Bush, who by the way I'm quite happy isn't president anymore," Allen said.
During the song's chorus, audience members were encouraged to wave their middle fingers in the air while singing "f*** you very much".
Mr Bush might not be the only one looking for a new career soon, with Allen herself hinting she could quit music because of the gruelling schedule and outside interests.
