LIL WAYNE'S CANADIAN GIG AXED AT THE LAST MINUTE

LIL WAYNE fans were left stunned on Monday (17Aug09) after his show in Canada was cancelled hours before it was due to take place.
Lil Wayne was scheduled to take the stage in Vancouver with hip-hop stars Young Jeezy and Soulja Boy Tell 'Em as part of the Lil Wayne's Young Money Presents: America's Most Wanted Music Festival tour.
But concert promoters announced on Monday afternoon that the show had been called off.
A news release read, "The Lil Wayne show has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond Live Nation's control."
The statement went on to confirm ticket-holders would be refunded for their purchase.
A message posted on a Live Nation Twitter.com page indicated that Lil Wayne's show on Tuesday (18Aug09) in Edmonton, Canada had also been cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control".
